Medical Patients in Everyday Obstetrics

The number of women with medical conditions in general and specialist antenatal clinics is increasing. As these patients are at higher risk for both obstetric and non-obstetric complications the East Midlands Maternal Medicine Network would like to invite especially obstetricians, obstetric trainees and midwives to a study day to share practical knowledge on how to better care for this high risk cohort before and during pregnancy as well as immediately post partum.
The programme will include :
- Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome and Metformin
- Clinical resources, advice and guidance
- Post partum care
- Case studies
- Setting up local MDTs
