Parents and families
Parents and families in the East Midlands is why the Network exists. Women and birthing people with medical conditions are often seen by multiple healthcare professionals from different professional and specialty backgrounds during pregnancy. This can sometimes seem overwhelming and disjointed. The Network is here to help bring together the people looking after you and to give you the information you need to make choices that are right for you.
We are dedicated to support you to:
- be in the best position to start pregnancy
- make sure you have access to expert advice during pregnancy so that you can make decisions about how to manage your medical conditions during pregnancy and around the time of birth
- plan your care for after pregnancy
You are the only constant on this journey. It is our aim to help build the right team around you and make sure you have the help and information you need when you need it.
