EMMMN at Leicester Caribbean Carnival
The Leicester Caribbean Carnival is held every year on the first Saturday in August and is the largest multicultural event in the Midlands. Marit Bodley, midwife from the EMMMN will be attending the Carnival Village along with other colleagues.
There will be health information and advice relevant to pregnant women and their families with a particular focus on women from different ethnic backgrounds with pre-existing medical problems. We will also be conducting a survey to try and identify how we can make our East Midlands maternity services more responsive to the needs of our population.
